Join Ivory Grande Design Collective for our 2-Day Draping Class in Philadelphia, February 28–March 1, from 10AM–5PM at the Marriott Residence Inn, Bala Cynwyd.
This hands-on, beginner-friendly experience is open to anyone—aspiring event designers, creatives, entrepreneurs, DIYers, and those simply curious about the art of draping. You’ll learn ceiling draping, backdrops, fabric handling, and professional installation techniques in a supportive, luxury learning environment.

The Beginner Draping Class is taught by the creative leadership team of Ivory Grande Design Collective, led by co-founders Blanche Smith and Nyree Harvey. Together, they bring a powerful blend of creative vision and hands-on production expertise. Blanche specializes in conceptual design and luxury styling, teaching students how to create cohesive, elevated spaces through intentional draping, while Nyree brings deep experience in installation, logistics, and on-site execution—ensuring students learn proper setup, safety, and professional techniques. Their real-world approach, rooted in active industry experience, provides students with practical skills, confidence, and insight into executing draping at a professional, luxury standard.
